Bright Named Exemplary School

The Texas Education Agency released the Accountability Ratings for 2009 on Friday July 31st. Bright Elementary has received an Exemplary rating!!! This year, the basic performance standards needed to achieve an Exemplary rating were a 90 percent or better passing rate in all TAKS subjects for all students and all student groups that meet minimum size criteria, and a completion rate of at least 95 percent and an annual dropout rate of 2 percent or lower.
